Icore Group to set up cement plant in Orissa The Icore Group of Calcutta has submitted a proposal for an investment of Rs 5000 crore in Orissa. The company plans to establish a 1Mt steel plant and a 5000tpd cement plant. The Memorandum of Understanding is to be signed next week. Construction of the cement plant is expected to begin in December 2010.
