Bolivia increased cement production by 15 per cent in the first half of this year compared to the same period of 2009, reported an official source. The general manager of the Bolivian Institute of Cement and Concrete, Marcelo Alfaro, noted that the increase in production adds stability in prices, almost unchanged in recent years.
