Russia’s Sibirsky Cement output up 2% on year in January–June

Russian holding Sibirsky Cement increased cement output 2% on the year to 1.29Mt in January–June, a spokesperson for the company said Thursday.

In June, Sibirsky Cement produced 390,551t of cement. No comparison was provided.
Cement sales amounted to 1.272 million tonnes in January–June and 385,251 tonnes in June, the company said.

Founded in 2002, Sibirsky Cement, or Sibirskiy Cement, is based in the Kemerovo Region. The holding includes five cement plants in the Siberian Federal District.

In 2009, Sibirsky Cement produced 2.688Mt of cement in 2009, down 33.5% on the year.
