In January-May Azerbaijan imported about 554,800t of cement and cement clinker, which is 23.6 per cent less than the same period last year, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.

During January-May approximately 323.500t of cement were imported to the country, or 21.4 per cent less than the same period last year.

In January-June Azerbaijan produced about 589,000t of cement, which is 0.6 per cent less than the same period of last year.
