Secil receives ok for co-incineration at Setabul
Secil’s Outão cement factory in Setúbal, Portugal may continue to co-incinerate hazardous waste, as it has done since 2009 without interruption.
Despite appeals by Castanheira Barros, counsel for the municipalities of Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra, the courts vindicated the company and the Ministry of Environment. The mayors now considering the submission of further appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court. Published under Cement News
