Brazil’s industrial conglomerate Camargo Correa is planning to invest BRL14bn (US$7.9bn) in its cement unit in the 2010-2014 period, reported local newspaper Folha de S. Paulo in its Thursday edition.

The investment represents a vigorous increase from the amount invested in the 2005-2009 period worth BRL810m, said the report, which cited Jose Franco, Camargo Correa’s chairman.
