India Cements plans for a coal-based captive power plant

India Cement Limited (ICL), a cement company operating in Tamilnadu is planning to set up a 48 MW coal based CPP at Narnamalpuram village, in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. The proposed CPP will be set up over an area of 10.99 acres. It will have a circulating-fluidised-bed-combustion boiler unit of 48 MW capacity, to be fuelled with coal. Published under Cement News
