During its anniversary celebrations Lafarge Austria manager Thomas Spannagl said the plant was "one of the best in the group."
The Retznei works has 90 employees and has a turnover of around EUR150m. The plant exports products primarily to Syria but smaller quantities are also delivered to Slovenia.
