Loma Negra takes 100 per cent control of Recycomb

Argentine cement company Loma Negra, controlled by the Brazilian Camargo Correa, announced today the acquisition of a 24.5% stake in industrial waste processing firm Recycomb. The shares were previously held by US-based Philips Services Corporation. Loma Negra now holds 100% shareholding in company, according to a company statement.

CEO of Loma Negra, Ricardo Lima, commented: "The investment we make to control 100% of shareholder capital Recycomb is further evidence of our desire to grow in Argentina, and a clear demonstration of the importance we place on important issues such as waste treatment and industrial fuel use not contaminants, " he said.
