Indian cement maker Dalmia Cement (Bharat) last week said its consolidated net profit grew 14.17 per cent to Rs 132.51 crore (US$28.7m) in the year ended March 31, 2010.

The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 116.06 crore in the last fiscal, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Consolidated total income increased to Rs 2,194.09 crore in the year under review from Rs 1,780.64 crore in the 12 month period last year.

For the year ended March 31, 2010, the company’s standalone net profit dropped to Rs 136.98 crore from Rs 168.63 crore in FY’09.
