German construction demand up 14.9%
As reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the total price-adjusted value of orders received by building construction and civil and underground engineering enterprises in Germany increased by 14.9 percent in March this year from the same month of the previous year. In March, building construction demand increased by 14.3 percent, while in civil and underground engineering demand increased by 15.6 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
