Lafarge Cement Wapco, the Nigerian unit of the world’s biggest cement maker Lafarge, expects third quarter pre-tax profit to halve to NGN3.4bn from a year earlier.

The company on Wednesday forecast turnover for the three months to September 30 at NGN14.6bn compared to NGN35.1bn reported in the same period last year.
