Cementos Andino is to open a thermoelectric power plant in Venezuela power plant in the state of Trujillo, Venezuela, which is set to be the largest installed in the country.
 
This plant will generate approximately 40 direct jobs. It will benefit the municipalities of Candelaria, Carache, JF Marquez and the municipality Canizalez Pampán.
