The shareholders’ also re-elected Carlo Pesenti chief executive officer (CEO), as well as board members Pierfranco Barabani, Alberto Bombassei, Alberto Clo, Federico Falck, Pietro Ferrero, Danilo Gambirasi, Italo Lucchini, Sebastiano Mazzoleni, Yves Rene Nanot, Marco Piccinini, Ettore Rossi, Attilio Rota, Carlo Secchi and Emilio Zanetti.
The board’s newcomers are Elena Zambon and Giorgio Bonomi, as well as Antonio Carosi representing First Eagle Investment Management, a holder of some 2.6% in Italcementi.
Emma Marcegaglia who was part of the board until approval of the 2009 results, has left the director’s seat.
