Jebel Ali receives quality award, UAE
Dubai-based Jebel Ali Cement Factory has become the first cement company to receive the Dubai quality Appreciation Program (DQAP) award.
Jebel Ali Cement won the 2009 award for its prioritization of quality as a key driver for corporate growth, DQAP recongises quality in overall management, including all aspects of operations, Human Resources, policies and procedures, customer relations, and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).
“We are extremely honored to receive this award. This achievement culminates four years of upgrades to our organisational structure, which have enabled us to use the latest technologies to meet our quality-related goals,” said Yousuf H Sharaf, managing director of the Jebel Ali Cement Factory.
