Nigeria’s Benue Cement Company posted at 205 per cent rise in pretax profit to NGN14.44bn in the full year to December compared with the previous period, the firm said on Thursday.
Turnover at the firm, controlled by local private conglomerate Dangote Group, soared to NGN35.02bn from NGN16.5bn in the same period of 2008, the company said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
