Iran produced over 47.44Mt of cement in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (beginning March 20, 2009). This translates into a 17 per cent increase to the same period in the previous year.

Some 62.84Mt of clinker were also produced, 15 per cent more than the year before.
