Iran produced over 47.44Mt of cement in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2009). This translates into a 17 per cent  YoY increase, the Mehr News Agency reported.

Some 62.84Mt of clinker was also produced, 15 per cent more than the year before.

Iran currently produces some 65Mta of cement.
