Egypt’s Suez Cement said on Thursday it posted a 25 percent rise in 2009 net profit to E£1.3bn (US$236.9m).

The firm, Egypt’s largest listed cement maker by market value and a subsidiary of Italcementi , said its net sales were at E£6.38bn.
