Cam Pha Cement Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of the listed Vietnam Construction Import-Export JS Corp (Vinaconex or VCG) had revenues of VND2.3 trillion (US$124.46m) in 2009, the first year of its operation.

The company sold 2.1Mt of cement and 1.8Mt of clinker last year, including 125,000t of cement exported to Mozambique, the financial website Cafef.vn reported Wednesday.

The company started commercial operation of Cam Pham cement plant worth VND6 trillion (US$324.69m) in northern coal-rich province of Quang Ninh in January 2009.

The plant has a designed capacity of producing 2.3Mt of PCB40 cement and 1.89Mta of clinker.
