Owing to the shortage of cement in Ethiopia, Derba Cement is in the process of increasing its production capacity and a new production facility is planned to be completed late 2010.
Stefan Tilk, area director for North Africa and Middle East at Volvo, said: "This is a major order that besides trucks includes supplying transport competence development and building a service organization and a spare parts supply system."
