Indian cement producer, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd  is in talks to raise INR12bn to fund its expansion, The Economic Times reported Monday, citing an unnamed source.

Dalmia Cement, which plans to double its capacity in four years, may offer a stake in the company or its subsidiary, Dalmia Cement Ventures, the report said without elaborating.

Dalmia Cement Managing Director Puneet Dalmia confirmed the company was in talks to raise funds.
