Jordan Lafarge Cement Factories Company (JCFC) raised cement prices by JOD1,25/t, effective Saturday, January16th, 2010, which brings the pre-ax price per tonne to JOD78, 09, said a statement issued by the company on Friday.

The company, the sole manufacturer of cement in Jordan, attributed this new rise to higher prices of industrial fuel as authourised by the government on Thursday.
