Construction of the plant began in 2005, and during the construction process more than 1200 people deployed on the project.
The plant has a cement capacity of 1.75Mta, which is set to help the overall development of the Region and also the entire State of Himachal Pradesh.
Features of the plant include:
• blending operation, for which WAMS of Italy supplied the blender. • cement mill supplied by KHD. • multi-compartment silos were commissioned. • pollution control equipment installed to keep emissions below 50mg/Nm3.
