Jaypee commissions new grinding and blending plant, India
Jaypee Himachal Cement Grinding and Blending Plant, a unit of Jaiprakash Associates Limited, was commissioned on 14 January 2010.
Construction of the plant began in 2005, and during the construction process more than 1200 people deployed on the project.
The plant has a cement capacity of 1.75Mta, which is set to help the overall development of the Region and also the entire State of Himachal Pradesh.
Features of the plant include:
• blending operation, for which WAMS of Italy supplied the blender. • cement mill supplied by KHD. • multi-compartment silos were commissioned. • pollution control equipment installed to keep emissions below 50mg/Nm3.
