Cemex to lay off 124 workers in Pennsylvania
Cemex told the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry it will temporarily lay off about 124 employees at its Wampum cement plant in Beaver on or about March 19. The plant will build inventories until then and continue shipping once the temporary layoffs occur, Cemex spokeswoman Jennifer Borgan said.
