Bangladeshi’s largest and the only integrated dry process Cement Plant Lafarge Surma Cement (LSC) Ltd recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengal Holdings Ltd at Lafarge Head office. Under this agreement, Bengal Holdings will exclusively use Lafarge’s ’SUPERCRETE’ brand cement in all of its projects. Besides, LSC will also help enhancing and partnering Construction Safety at the company’s sites.Masud Khan, Finance Director of Lafarge and Abdullah AI Ahsan, Group Chairman of Bengal Group signed the MOU on behalf of their respective companies.

Khan said that Lafarge would continue to ensure quality products anytime and anywhere at a competitive price for Bengal Holdings while Ahsan expressed his trust on Lafarge’s products as he has been using them for many years even prior to the agreement being signed. Kazi Khalid Mahmood, Comercial Director of Lafarge Surma Cement, Rajib Ahsan Chowdhury, Chairman of Bengal Holdings Ltd and other high officials of both the companies were present at the ceremony.
