The chairman and CEO of Portuguese cement producer Cimpor, Ricardo Bayao Horta, resigned from the position of chairman in Atlansider SGPS SA, which is a shareholder in Cimpor.

The resignation was filed on November 2 with immediate effects, Cimpor said on Monday in a filing to Portugal’s national bourse regulator CMVM.

As a result, Atlansider remained related only to Cimpor’s board of directors member Jose Enrique Freire Arteta, Cimpor added in the paper.
