Cementos Portland sold its shareholdings in Argentine cement producers Cementos Avellaneda and Minus Inversora as well as in Uruguay-based Cementos Artigas. The buyer is Brazilian cement producer Votorantim.

In fact, the deal with Votorantim was inked by Cementos Portland’s subsidiary Uniland Internacional.
