HeidelbergCement suspends plant construction, Russia
HeidelbergCement has put off the construction of a EUR200m cement plant near Voronezh on the Latnensky deposit. The plant will produce 1Mt of cement by 2012. The company explained that it has insufficient funds and will focus on construction of a cement enterprise in the Tula region. Earlier, Pavlovskgranit OJSC put the plug on the similar project in the region, Kommersant-Chernozemye said. Published under Cement News
