Zambia: ZPC to Supply Cement to Ndola Stadium
Zambezi Portland Cement (ZPC) has been awarded a contract to supply cement for the construction of stadium in Ndola.
ZPC operations director, Peter Kanaganayagam said in Ndola yesterday that a team of Chinese construction experts building the stadium examined the cement and were satisfied with the quality.
"They have agreed to buy all the cement required for the construction of their stadium from here. A total of 30,000t will be able to meet their demand. If we had cement already packed in bags we could have started delivering by today," he said.
Anhui Foreign Economic Construction Corporation (AFEEC) is building the 40,100 capacity stadium.
