Siam City Cement 3Q Net THB742m vs THB715m
Siam City Cement PCL said Thursday third-quarter net profit rose 3.8% from a year earlier to THB742m (US$22.3m) due to lower costs and foreign exchange gains.
Thailand’s second-largest cement maker by output said revenue during the period was down to THB4.9 billion from THB5.1 billion a year earlier.
However, selling and distribution expenses eased to THB946.8 million from THB1.1 billion.
It also booked a foreign exchange gain of THB16.9 million compared to a THB15.9 million loss in the same period last year.
