Portuguese cement producer Secil has awarded Cachapuz Bilanciai Group with a new order to upgrade the SLV Cement installation of Outão cement works. This order includes the creation of a new cement expedition area composed with three SLV Cement Kiosks with corresponding control barriers and positioning sensors for access control, weighing, expedition and document printing. The SLV Cement core will also be upgraded, including more features and functionalities for the customer.

SLV Cement is a cement dispatching and logistics flow control solution that automates all the processes from the trucks arrivals at the cement plant, to the shipping of cement and automatic printing of the necessary documentation at the end of the process, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in self-service mode. SLV Cement not only enhances the logistics processes inside the cement plant, but also guarantees all the data exchange between the logistics and commercial departments efficiently and automatically. SLV Cement complements the business software (ERP) creating a vertical and tailored solution for cement companies.
