ACC said that the cement production for the month of October fell to 1.71Mt compared to production of 1.74Mt in October 2008. The company ’s despatches for October slipped to 1.69Mt from 1.7Mt in the same month last year.

The cumulative cement production of the company for the period from January to October 2009 edged up to 17.83Mt from 17.23Mt. The company’s despatches during the period rose to 17.81Mt compared to 17.23Mt in the year ago period.
