The state Division of Air Quality is extending the comment period for the public to voice its opinion on Titan America’s draft air permit for a cement plant in Castle Hayne. The period has been extended from October 30th to November 20th. The state issued a draft air permit for the project last month.

Two more public meetings are scheduled for October 20th. They are at the BB&T Auditorium at Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus.
