Taiwan Cement Corp will raise prices at its three plants in China by 6.5% to 7% in September due to strong demand, the Apply Daily reported Monday, citing Senior Vice President Edward Huang.

Prices in southern China, where the company’s plants are located, are supported by plans to upgrade infrastructure and railways in Guangxi province, the paper cited Huang as saying.
