Dong Lam Cement Stock Company will kick off construction of the Dong Lam cement plant worth VND3.6 trillion (US$202m) in the central province of Thua Thien Hue in the first quarter of 2010, the Vietnam Economic Times newspaper said Tuesday.
 
The plant, to be located in Phong Xuan and Phoang An communes in Phong Dien district, will have a designed production capacity of 1.5Mta of cement.
 
It is expected to turn out the first batches of cement in the first quarter of 2012.
