Cimpor Yibitas’ new 2500tpd clinker line at its Hasanoglan’ works has reached completion stage and the factory produced its first clinker on 29 July 2009.

The contract for the new line was awarded to EKON Construction and Trade Inc on a turnkey basis on 20 August 2007. The project, covering the engineering, procurement, construction, erection, start up and commissioning of the new Greenfield clinker line, cement additives and cement grinding facilities has been put into operation as one of the most modern cement plants in Turkey.
