The decline in Southern African market momentum continued last month with regional industry monthly and daily sales for June 2009 being down 16.7% and 20.6% year on year respectively.

All provinces showed a decline with the Western and Eastern Cape experiencing the largest year on year decline in June. The construction sector continues to show positive year on year demand.
