Construction of the Ha Tien 2-2 cement production line started yesterday in Kien Luong District in the southern province of Kien Giang, said the Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (Vicem).

With an investment capital of VND3.04trn  (US$173.71m), the project has a capacity of 1.26Mta of clinker  per year and 600,000t of cement.

Polysuis and Bedeschi will provide equipment for the Ha Tien 2-2 cement line.
