Gujarat Sidhee Cement swung to profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the company reported profit of INR116.03m compared with a loss of INR33.34m in the same quarter previous year.

Net sales for the quarter jumped 41.01% to Rs 1,145.60m, while total income for the quarter rose 39.43% to Rs 1,145.60m, when compared with the prior year period.
