Shui On may list Lafarge China JV

Hong Kong’s Shui On Construction and Materials may spin off its China joint venture, Lafarge Shui On Cement, for a listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange, the South China Morning Post reported.

The listing plan is in its initial stages, withh no sponsor for the listing appointed as yet, said Shui On chairman Lo Hong-sui.

Shui On’s managing director Wong Yuet-leung said the joint venture partners will spend between CNY800m and CNY1bn to expand capacity by 600,000t to 30Mt.
