Consumer Affairs Ministry said that this decision was taken at a special meeting held with the President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday evening.
At the moment the price of a 50 kg cement bag in Sri Lanka is Rs. 785 and with the price reduction it will be Rs. 715, the Ministry said.
