Cement sales grew 15.7% January-October in Brazil compared with the same period last year, to 42.86Mt according to figures out Friday from the National Cement Industry Association (Snic).

In October these sales rose 11.6% to 4.82Mt, while sales per day grew 7.2% from October 2007, but fell 1.4% in relation to September 2008.
