Belarus’ cement output in the first nine months of 2008 totaled 32Mt, a 10.7 per cent YoY increase, according to the National Statistics Committee. Cement output reportedly amounted to 392,900t in September, or 2.6 per cent less than in August and 17.9 per cent more than in September 2007.

The Belarusian government had set itself the task of increasing the domestic cement supply by 47 per cent in 2008 to 5.4Mt and 9.5Mt by 2010.
