Sinoma unit wins EUR12.885m contract in Cyprus

China Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said in a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange that its subsidiary CBMI Construction Co Ltd has inked contract worth EUR 12.885m to help Vassiliko Cement Works Ltd build a cement production line in Cyprus, market sources reported.

According to Sinoma International’s filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, this contract is complementary to an agreement signed between the two parties earlier.

The designed capacity of the cement production line is 6,000tpd, which is expected to be completed in 16 months. The total value of the contracts will reach EUR 96.69m.

In the statement, Sinoma also disclosed its Tianjin unit was awarded a RMB 868.73m contract by Lafarge Ruian Cement Co Ltd to build a clinker line in Guizhou province. The project is scheduled to be completed within 23 months.
