NNS Holding, the Luxembourg-based investment fund controlled by Nassef Sawiris, has boosted its stake in Lafarge to 13.2 per cent, a spokesman said on Wednesday.

A spokesman for NNS said the fund bought 300,000 shares in the last 48 hours, in a single transaction worth EUR26.6m.

NNS has had two seats on Lafarge’s board since December, when it took an 11.4 percent stake, which it has since been gradually building, the spokesman said.
