Holcim Hungaria acquires permit to build EUR 350m plant

Holcim Hungaria has acquired a building permit for a EUR 350m cement plant it plans to build in Nyergesujfalu (NW Hungary), Holcim Hungaria communication director Iran Marta told MTI on Wednesday.

The plant will be the most modern in Europe, and will replace an outdated plant nearby at Labatlan.

Holcim Hungaria had revenue of HUF 32bn in 2007. It employs about 700 staff. The company spent HUF 2.3bn on developments last year.
