Brazil’s domestic cement sales grew 8% in August from the same month last year, to 4.604Mt according to figures out Tuesday from the National Cement Industry Association (Snic).
 
Over January-August there was a 15% increase compared with the same period last year, to 33.297Mt.
 
Over the 12 months to the end of August there was 14.3% growth to 49.1Mt.
