Cement shipments by India’s Aditya Birla Group in August fell 5.4 per cent from a year earlier to 2.19Mt the firm said late on Tuesday.
 
Cement production fell 8.9 per cent to 2.12Mt, it said in a statement.
 
The group includes flagship Grasim Industries and UltraTech Cement and has a combined cement-making capacity of more than 31Mta.
