Cement shipments in India rose an annual 8.5 per cent in July, compared with the 8.7 percent expansion seen in June, according to data from an industry body.
 
Sales rose to 14.54Mt in July, compared with 13.4Mt a year ago, according to a statement on the Cement Manufacturer’s Association’s website.
 
Production in the month rose 9.6 per cent to 14.7Mt in the month, CMA said.
